Learning to be comfortable in my own skin

I have days where I am hard on myself (just like everybody else), but I have never been more comfortable with my “off season” body, in my entire life, than i am right now. I have been through so many physical and emotional roller coasters, since starting my fitness journey, 7 years ago (3.5 since I started bodybuilding). I’ve hated myself, I’ve loved myself, I’ve given up and I’ve taken breaks, but competing is what changed everything. It made me passionate, goal oriented and driven. It gave me the motivation to keep pushing, until I learned the value of self love and appreciation. It taught me that setting and achieving goals gives you a sense of purpose in this world. For the first time in my life, I am proud of myself. I have accomplished EVERY goal I have set for myself and I am only going to continue setting and accomplishing even more. You may not be where you want to be yet, but I can assure you, you are well on your way. So, be patient and understand that your body is only trying to do its best. Trust the process and keep pushing, even on those days you want to give up. Those days are the most important ones 💪🏻💖🔥
